October 01,2026,Selangor-KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) has partnered with Caltex Malaysia to streamline fuel purchases through Caltex StarCard for compactor and Armroll/RORO trucks operated by its appointed subcontractors across Selangor.
The launch of the StarCard Fleet Programme by KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd and Caltex Malaysia was marked by Dato’ Haji Ramli Mohd Tahir, MD of KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (third from right), and Leong Jee Wong, Country Chairman of Caltex Malaysia (fourth from left).
Under the partnership, subcontractors can use the Caltex StarCard to refuel registered vehicles at participating Caltex stations, with each card linked to the vehicle’s registration number for easier monitoring of fuel transactions and expenditure.
The system also allows purchase limits to be set while providing structured transaction records and account statements, subject to agreed terms and conditions.
KDEBWM said the initiative will help strengthen fuel management and accountability while supporting its subcontractors in delivering efficient and reliable domestic waste collection and public cleansing services throughout Selangor.
