The event underscored the enduring emotional appeal of the Prelude, while showcasing how Honda continues to deliver the joy of driving in the electrified era.

The event brought together three All-New Prelude owners — Gan Ker Beng, Wahiduzaman Bin Abu Kashim and Dr. Davina Navreet Kaur. From diverse backgrounds, they are united by their appreciation for the Prelude’s distinctive character, refined driving experience and enduring heritage that continues to define Honda’s iconic sports coupe.
Gan Ker Beng, an entrepreneur from Johor Bahru, has a long-standing connection with Honda and the Prelude. His journey began with a Civic in the 1990s, when the Prelude was already his dream car but remained beyond his reach. Decades later, the return of the iconic sports coupe to Malaysia gave him the opportunity to finally fulfil that dream. For Gan, owning the Prelude is less about outright performance and more about the name, memories and enduring connection with Honda that have stayed with him over the years.
Wahiduzaman Bin Abu Kashim ,shared, “When I test drove the Prelude, I truly felt its driver-focused character and uncompromised comfort. The S+ Shift Technology allows me to fully immerse myself in an engaging driving experience, giving me a sharp gear-shifting feel whenever I want a more exhilarating drive. I can’t wait to start this exciting new chapter with my Prelude.”
Dr. Davina Navreet Kaur, an endodontist and first-time Honda owner, was drawn to the Prelude through memories of seeing classic models in her Subang neighbourhood. “Growing up, I would always see the classic Preludes in my Subang neighbourhood, admiring them from afar. Owning a red coupe has also been a dream of mine since I was a teenager, and as a huge fan of Honda’s hybrid technology, the moment the Prelude was launched, I immediately fell in love and placed a booking right away, without a test drive.
“Today, I finally own my dream red sports coupe, and it is a Prelude! This car does not need to shout its presence. Its effortless stance and quiet sophistication align perfectly with who I am. It has that self-assured feeling of having arrived on my own terms, which resonates very much with my own personal journey,” she said.
