June 28,2026 Kuala Lumpur-More than 205,440 visitors attended the 11th edition of the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026) during its 10-day run at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). Organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Qube), the “Beyond Mobility”-themed event showcased the latest innovations in electrification, intelligent mobility, connectivity, and sustainable transportation from leading automotive and mobility brands.
Occupying seven exhibition halls at MITEC, the show featured an impressive line-up of brands including Dongfeng, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jetour, Kia, Maxus, Mazda, MG Motor, Nissan, Perodua, Proton, Proton e.MAS, smart, Toyota, Wuling, XPENG and Zeekr, alongside motorcycle brands AFAZ and Suzuki.
MAA President Mohd Shamsor Bin Mohd Zain said the success of KLIMS 2026 reflects the resilience of Malaysia’s automotive industry and its accelerating shift towards electrification and smarter mobility solutions.
Visitors also had the opportunity to win prizes worth a combined RM125,000 through the KLIMS Lucky Draw. Foo Yan Ling drove home the grand prize, a Perodua Bezza AV, courtesy of Perodua, while QBE supported the event as Bronze Sponsor.
KLIMS 2026 also introduced the inaugural KLIMS Creator Award, organised in collaboration with GoFluence, recognising content creators who helped amplify the show’s “Beyond Mobility” message across digital platforms. Five awards were presented, with each winner receiving RM1,000 in cash. Other popular attractions included the Race Car Simulator Challenge, Remote Control Car Experience and KLIMS Modified Car Battle.

This year’s show featured an extensive range of product launches, concept vehicles and regional previews. Proton expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the locally assembled e.MAS 5 and e.MAS 7 Premium Plus, while Honda unveiled the long-awaited Prelude Hybrid Coupe. Hyundai introduced the performance-focused Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, marking the debut of its N performance brand in Malaysia, alongside the family-oriented Stargazer MPV.
Mazda showcased the CX-60 MHEV, MG Motor launched the ZS Hybrid+ and Cyberster, while Jetour introduced the T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid SUV and the G700 SUV.
Future mobility also took centre stage with Perodua unveiling its C2 Concept EV sedan and QV-E G+ Edition, Toyota presenting an electrified Corolla concept, Proton showcasing its FutureMotion HEV powertrain, XPENG displaying its futuristic X2 flying car, and Dongfeng previewing the premium Voyah Dream MPV.
Several brands used KLIMS 2026 as a platform for exclusive previews, including Zeekr with its flagship 9X SUV and 009 Grand MPV, TQ Wuling with the Huajing S, Kia with the EV4, EV5, PV5 and K4, GWM with the Ora 5 HEVand Haval Raptor, as well as Nissan’s facelifted X-Trail e-Power and Dongfeng’s 008 EV SUV and M-Hero II PHEV.
Complementing the automotive showcase was a vibrant programme of lifestyle and entertainment activities. Visitors enjoyed performances by Ella, Anuar Zain, Lah Ahmad, FUGŌ and Kyoto Protocol, while KLIMS’ inaugural collaboration with RIUH introduced a curated bazaar featuring local creative entrepreneurs, alongside drumline performances, cultural showcases and a live recording of The Overdrive Session Automotive Podcast.
