June 08,2026, Kuala Lumpur-SAIC Motor Malaysia is gearing up for a major presence at KL International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026), showcasing the next phase of MG’s electrified and premium mobility ambitions for Malaysia.
Leading the display is the all-new MG ZS compact SUV, offered with both Hybrid+ and turbocharged powertrains. The introduction reflects MG’s expanding product strategy as it broadens its portfolio to meet the evolving needs of Malaysian motorists.
Visitors will also get a first look at MG’s latest design direction, combining contemporary styling, advanced technology and enhanced efficiency to support the brand’s vision of accessible, future-ready mobility.
Adding further significance to the event, Jozef Kabaň-VP of SAIC Motor’s Global Design Center, will make a special appearance at KLIMS 2026. He will host a Design Language Briefing Session, offering insights into the philosophy and creative thinking behind the next generation of MG vehicles.
KLIMS 2026 will also mark the Malaysian debut of IM (Intelligence in Motion), SAIC’s premium luxury-focused sub-brand.
Headlining the introduction is the IM6, a fully electric smart SUV that showcases advanced technology, sophisticated design and intelligent mobility solutions, providing a glimpse into the future of SAIC’s premium EV strategy.
The showcase highlights MG’s ambition to strengthen its position across multiple segments, from practical electrified urban mobility solutions to premium EV offerings, as competition intensifies within Malaysia’s automotive landscape.
Beyond the vehicles, visitors can enjoy interactive activities, social media contests and bi-hourly catwalk performances featuring models in traditional kebaya attire, blending Malaysian cultural heritage with the MG brand experience.
Test drives for the MG ZS Hybrid+ and MGS5 EV will also be available throughout the event, with complimentary coffee offered to participants.
On 14 June, more than 40 members of the MG Club will gather at KLIMS to showcase a collection of classic and modern MG models, including the all-electric Cyberster, highlighting the brand’s rich heritage and evolution into the EV era.
With a strong start to 2026 and further product developments in the pipeline, MG Motor Malaysia continues to focus on expanding its local footprint through compelling products, stronger customer engagement and an expanding dealer network.
