KUALA LUMPUR, June 5, 2026 – Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (Auto ConneXion-Ford), has power-up “LUXURY MEETS POWER” with three new additions to its Ford Everest range – the Everest Platinum 3.0L, Everest Platinum 2.0L and Everest Sport 2.0L – at the Sime Motors MotorExpo 2026.

Available for booking at authorised Ford dealerships nationwide, the new variants are priced from RM316,888, marking one of the most significant expansions of the Everest line-up in Malaysia. The broadened range gives customers greater choice across the lifestyle, adventure and premium luxury SUV segments.
In conjunction with the launch, customers will enjoy early bird special, which includes two years free service upon their confirmed purchase of any of the all new Ford Everest variants in June.
Customers can also enjoy Ford’s ongoing Fuel Rush Bonanza campaign, which runs until 30 June 2026. Customers who purchase a new Ford vehicle during the campaign period stand a chance to win a year’s worth of free fuel, along with a range of lifestyle and home prizes including fuel cards, electronics and premium lifestyle products, further enhancing the ownership experience for Ford customers nationwide.

The New Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L introduces a more powerful 3.0-litre 4V DOHC V6 turbo-charged diesel engine, generating 183.8 kW (250 PS) at 3,250 rpm and a substantial 600 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,000 rpm. Along with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring an eShifter, the flagship variant is equipped with an advanced ElectroMagnetic Transfer Case (EMTC), a full-time four-wheel drive system,enabling intelligent torque distribution to maximise traction, stability and control across more demanding driving conditions. Together, these features make the New Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L as the most powerful and technologically advanced Everest variant available in Malaysia.
The New Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L shares the Platinum’s premium design language, featuring a distinctive grille with bold black PLATINUM lettering on the hood, front doors and tailgate, a signature touch exclusive to this range-topping variant. Matrix LED headlights and signature C-clamp daytime running lights reinforce its commanding road presence. With seating for up to seven passengers, it is one of the few SUVs in its class to offer a full third row with power folded seats, making it an ideal choice for larger families or group adventures. Riding on larger 21-inch alloy wheels with 275/45 R21 tyres, it further enhances road stability and driving confidence.

The New Ford Everest Platinum 2.0L combines luxury, technology and capability in a package designed for customers seeking a more premium SUV ownership experience without compromising everyday usability. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, it produces 125 kW (170 PS) and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly (ESOF) a part-time four-wheel drive system to deliver a balanced combination of performance, efficiency and confidence across diverse driving environments
With refined design upgrades, the New Ford Everest Platinum 2.0L features a premium grille design, Matrix LED headlights and signature C-clamp daytime running lights that elevate its road presence. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with 255/55 R20 tyres for enhanced stability.
Inside, the cabin delivers an elevated digital and driving experience, anchored by a 12-inch multi-touch colour touchscreen with wireless connectivity and Ford SYNC® 4A for smartphone integration and intuitive control of key vehicle functions. The Everest Platinum 2.0L is available in Acacia Green, Meteor Grey, Arctic White and Absolute Black.
Meanwhile, the New Ford Everest Sport 2.0L is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that delivers 125 kW (170 PS) at 3,500 rpm and 405 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,000 rpm. Paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and equipped with ESOF, a part-time four-wheel drive, it now comes with six drive modes, including Mud/Ruts and Sand to deliver responsive everyday performance with the capability to handle more demanding terrain. The enhanced Everest Sport 2.0L combines strong low-end torque with confident drivability across varying road conditions, making it equally suited for urban mobility and weekend escapes.
The New Ford Everest Sport 2.0L also features a distinctive grille, LED headlights with signature C-clamp daytime running lights, and bold black exterior accents that reinforce its athletic identity. Riding on 20-inch alloy wheels with 255/55 R20 tyres, it delivers assured performance and stability.
Inside, newly designed sporty two-tone seats create a more dynamic cabin while maintaining everyday comfort. A part-time 4-wheel-drive system with selectable driving modes further enhances versatility, enabling drivers to adapt to different terrains and conditions. The Everest Sport 2.0L is available in Command Grey, Lightning Blue, Arctic White and Absolute Black.
