June 04, 2026, Selangor –UD Trucks and its sole distributor partner, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment (TCIE), have strengthened their presence in Malaysia with the opening of a new 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) dealership centre in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, through a strategic collaboration with Soon Seng Automobile.

Located at Lot 109, Jalan Platinum 5/5, Pusat Perdagangan Nilai Impian, the new facility is designed to support UD Trucks’ growing customer base in the region by offering comprehensive sales, aftersales service and genuine spare parts support.

The opening ceremony was attended by Anbarasu Subramanian– Uptime & Retail Director for Southeast Asia & East Asia, UD Trucks, Keiichiro Ochiai-Region Director for Southeast Asia & East Asia, UD Trucks, Chan Swe Wah,- MD Soon Seng Automobile Sdn Bhd, Chan Ah Fook– Director, Soon Seng Automobile Sdn Bhd- Loh Thim Choy– COO, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd, Edmund Chan Han Leong -After Sales Director, Soon Seng Automobile Sdn Bhd, Samson Chan Kok Sing– Business Development Director, Soon Seng Automobile Sdn Bhd and Law Ah Tiong– Sales Director, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd.
As part of the celebrations, UD Trucks also handover UD Trucks to two customers.


Logisteed Malaysia, an existing UD Trucks customer, took delivery of three UD Quester trucks, while LLC Infra, a new customer, received two UD Croner trucks.

The new 3S centre showcases UD Trucks’ complete commercial vehicle line-up, including the light-duty UD Kuzer, medium-duty UD Croner and heavy-duty UD Quester. The facility is equipped with four service bays, advanced diagnostic equipment and a comprehensive inventory of genuine UD Trucks parts to support maintenance and repair requirements.

Loh Thim Choy,-COO, of TCIE said the appointment of Soon Seng Automobile aligns with the company’s strategy to expand the UD Trucks dealer network and improve accessibility for customers. He highlighted Nilai’s strategic location, supported by strong highway connectivity and a growing industrial and commercial ecosystem, as a key factor in the dealership’s growth potential.

Customers visiting the new centre will also benefit from UD Trucks’ UD Extra Mile Services, which include genuine parts support, service agreements and 24/7 roadside assistance, helping fleet operators maximise uptime and operational efficiency.
