May 14, 2026 ,SERI KEMBANGAN – JAC Auto (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has unveiled its all-new JAC N90 light-duty truck, developed to meet the evolving demands of modern logistics and transport businesses.The versatile N90 is engineered for suburban deliveries, construction operations, and high-frequency long-distance transport.
Oscar Yu, GM of JAC International together with Transport Minister-Anthony Loke officiated the unveiling of the all-new JAC N90 light-duty truck at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2026, held at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre.(MIECC)
The JAC N90 is available for purchase at all authorised JAC dealerships nationwide at RM118,000 (Bare Chassis). It comes with a six year warranty or 300,000km, whichever comes first. Customers will also benefit from a complimentary 10,000km free service programme, further supporting cost-effective ownership and maintenance.
Also displayed at the JAC Auto booth were the JAC i40 EV light-duty truck and the JAC T9 EV pickup truck, highlighting the brand’s growing portfolio of commercial vehicles and its commitment to advancing electrified mobility solutions for the future of transport.

Now in its sixth generation, the JAC Light duty truck has established itself as a trusted workhorse for business worldwide, with more than 3.2 million units sold globally since its introduction. The all-new model JAC N90 further strengthens JAC’s position in the premium light-duty truck segment, offering a compelling combination of power, reliability and efficiency.
Designed with a 7.5-tonne Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), the N90 delivers strong performance and durability to support a wide range of commercial applications. It offers flexible configurations with multiple wheelbase options ranging from 3365mm to 4800mm, allowing operators to adapt the vehicle for various cargo body types including cargo boxes, refrigerated units, construction bodies and other specialized commercial applications.
Powertrain & Performance
The N90 features a well-proven “golden powertrain” configuration in the light-to-medium-duty segment: a Cummins B4.5 (Euro V) engine paired with an Eaton-Fuller ESO-6106A transmission. This combination delivers strong launch performance and improved fuel efficiency. At highway speeds of 80–90 km/h, the engine operates within an optimal 1,200–1,600 rpm range, contributing to an estimated 3–5 percent reduction in fuel consumption compared to direct-drive transmissions.
The Cummins B4.5 engine, based on Cummins’ globally successful B-series medium-duty platform, is a proven technology with millions of units in operation worldwide. Jointly developed by JAC MOTORS and Cummins, the engine complies with Euro V emission standards and produces a maximum output of 160hp @ 2,600 rpm, along with a peak torque of 540 Nm across a wide range of 1,100 to 1,800rpm – delivering both performance and efficiency.
Convenience & Safety
The N90 is equipped with JAC’s latest generation cab, designed with driver comfort and convenience in mind. Interior features include air-suspension seat, step-less adjustable armrest, and a 10.4-inch multimedia touchscreen paired with LCD instrument cluster to enhance connectivity and ease of operation.
Safety is a key priority, with the N90 equipped with intelligent active safety systems including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR), Hill-Start Assist (HAS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to enhance driving stability and safety in various road conditions.
