Kia Ownership Experience Reflects KSM’s Return, Rebuild and Reposition Strategy

MAY 13, 2026 ,KUALA LUMPUR,—Driven by its three strategic pillars — Return, Rebuild, and Reposition — Kia Sales Malaysia (KSM) continues to strengthen customer confidence through sustainable growth, innovation, and an enhanced ownership experience.

Reinforcing this commitment, KSM is hosting its inaugural Kia Ownership Experience from 11 to 17 May 2026 at the Kia Glenmarie 3S Centre in the Klang Valley.

“Through the Kia Ownership Experience, we aim to build closer relationships with our customers while supporting measurable improvements in our after-sales offerings across our growing network,” said Hyung Ho Kim-President and CEO,Kia Sales Malaysia

Emily Lek -MD of Kia Sales Malaysia  said, “Our ownership focus at Kia Sales Malaysia is centred on strengthening dealer operations, delivering exceptional value through lower running costs, and ensuring sufficient parts availability through our dedicated 35,000 sq ft parts warehouse, enabling greater service efficiency and faster turnaround times.”

“Further to this, our structured 10-step service process reflects our commitment to service excellence — from appointment booking and personalised consultation to vehicle delivery and customer follow-up — giving customers complete confidence and peace of mind throughout their ownership journey,” she added.

The week-long initiative offers customers, media representatives, and the wider Kia community an inside look at KSM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its after-sales operations, elevate service standards, and reinforce long-term customer care — all with the goal of delivering a more seamless and rewarding ownership journey for Kia customers across Malaysia

Some participating vehicles have accumulated mileage exceeding 400,000km, underscoring the long-term durability and reliability of Kia vehicles under real-world Malaysian ownership conditions.

The Kia Ownership Experience also features technical demonstrations led by Hyung Gyu Choi,-Senior Technical Manager of Kia’s Ownership Operation Team. Having joined Kia Corporation in 1993, H.G. Choi brings more than 34 years of global after-sales and technical service expertise to the programme.
