In line with its expanding hybrid portfolio, Honda Malaysia has unveiled the All-New Prelude as the latest addition to its electrified lineup. Marking the return of an iconic nameplate, this highly anticipated model represents a significant milestone for the brand.
The All-New Prelude stands as Honda Malaysia’s first e:HEV hybrid sports coupe — blending performance-driven engineering with advanced electrification. With bookings now officially open, the model signals a bold new chapter in Honda’s journey to redefine sporty driving in the hybrid era.

Currently, the e:HEV powertrain is available across key models including the City, City Hatchback, HR-V, Civic, and the New CR-V — reinforcing Honda’s strong hybrid footprint in Malaysia. Backed by a comprehensive nationwide service network, reliable parts availability, and strong ownership value, Honda continues to deliver a confident and rewarding electrified ownership experience.
Driving this momentum forward, Honda Malaysia has introduced the “Hybrid Done Right” campaign, running from 1 April to 30 June 2026. The campaign features a series of engaging initiatives designed to showcase the advantages of the e:HEV system, while offering customers exciting rewards along the way.
Under this campaign, customers who purchase a Honda e:HEV model will enjoy an additional RM2,000 cash rebate and free labour service for the first two years . In addition, they will earn an entry into a monthly lucky draw for a chance to experience the highly anticipated All-New Prelude for one week after its launch. Existing Honda hybrid owners are also invited to take part by joining the “Hybrid Done Right” Contest, where they can share their actual fuel consumption readings for one full tank on social media. Participants with the best fuel consumption performance will be rewarded with a one-year free service package .
Setting a new benchmark, the All-New Prelude introduces S+ Shift Technology, offered for the first time in Honda Malaysia’s lineup. Integrated with Active Sound Control, the system simulates gear shifts and enhances engine responsiveness through precise coordination between the engine and dual electric motors. It delivers a more engaging and dynamic driving experience with sharper throttle response, enhanced control, and multi-sensory feedback. The shift hold function further improves driving precision, allowing the vehicle to respond accurately to driver inputs and intended driving lines.
The All-New Prelude is powered by Honda’s advanced 2.0L e:HEV powertrain, producing 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque. Engineered for performance, the system provides instant acceleration, linear power delivery, and precise control, offering an exhilarating driving sensation that represents a new era of hybrid performance.
The All-New Prelude features a modern design with sleek proportions and sophisticated styling, combining functional beauty and distinctive characteristics unique to a sports coupe. Measuring 4,522mm in length, 1,880mm in width, and 1,355mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm, the model strikes a commanding yet elegant silhouette.
Its aerodynamic exterior is enhanced by a smooth roofline achieved through laser brazing, Flush Door Outer Handles and a Black Chrome Grille, complemented by subtle blue accents at the lower centre of the front and rear bumpers. Additional highlights include LED Headlights and LED Rear Combi Lights with Red Lens, alongside enhanced Active Cornering Lights that further improve visibility during nighttime driving. Completing its sporty character, the model rides on 19-inch Aluminum Wheels paired with high-capacity Brembo brakes, reinforcing both performance and control.
Honda Malaysia continues to prioritise safety with the All-New Prelude, which comes equipped with Honda SENSING, as well as the Blind Spot Information (BSI) system and Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM), ensuring enhanced driver awareness and confidence on the road.
