The growth was driven primarily by the hybrid segment, where GWM ranked third overall with a 15.5% market share. Leading the charge was the GWM Haval H6 HEV, which emerged as one of Malaysia’s top-selling hybrid vehicles, ranking second nationwide and capturing 14.9% of the HEV market in 2025.

GWM Malaysia’s performance reflects a broader market shift towards hybrid vehicles that balance efficiency, performance and everyday usability. The sustained demand for the Haval H6 HEV highlights growing acceptance of hybrids as a practical transition towards electrified mobility.
Looking ahead, GWM Malaysia is preparing for the next phase of growth with the introduction of Hi4, its next-generation hybrid architecture designed to integrate performance, efficiency and intelligent energy management. The brand will also expand its portfolio with the upcoming launch of the WEY G9 Intelligent Luxury MPV by the end of January 2026.
