The brand made a confident entry into Malaysia in 2024, achieving sales of over 7,040 vehicles within its first year. This early success accelerated dramatically in 2025, with total sales surging more than 153 percent year-on-year to 17,849 units — underscoring growing consumer confidence in the brand.

Fueling this growth was the J7, which recorded 11,522 units delivered nationwide. The J7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) also gained significant traction, with over 3,000 customers embracing OMODA & JAECOO’s advanced Super Hybrid technology, reinforcing the brand’s growing footprint in Malaysia’s electrified mobility segment.
