May 22,2024 ,Kuala Lumpur– Stellantis is here to stay , to become a true partner in Malaysia’s automotive journey . We are not just making a pit stop in Malaysia. Jamie Francis Morais, MD of Stellantis Malaysia, disclosed this during their debut participation at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.

Stellantis, the world’s fourth-largest automaker, showcased a lineup of three marques under the Stellantis’ brand portfolios – PEUGEOT, Citroën and Leapmotor at the Autoshow.

The all-new, locally assembled PEUGEOT 408 which was launched last month received over 300 bookings and counting .It comes in 3 distinct variants – Allure, Premium, and GT – with a starting price of RM146,055.

The all-new PEUGEOT 408 is completely redesigned to redefine its segment, showcasing the brand’s forward-thinking design philosophy and fine engineering and technology.

PEUGEOT, known for its alluring designs and innovative spirit, took center stage at the Stellantis booth with the spotlight on the all-new PEUGEOT 408 and the enhanced PEUGEOT LANDTREK Special Edition (SE). Both the LANDTREK Allure and LANDTREK SE are assembled at the state-of-the-art Stellantis Gurun plant in Kedah.

The PEUGEOT LANDTREK SE further exemplifies the brand’s dedication to the Malaysian market, especially its understanding of the country’s diverse road conditions and driving styles. Featuring upgraded suspensions for a sportier ride with a selection of new, practical accessories, the PEUGEOT LANDTREK SE has a new unique look that has been meticulously enhanced to excel in both urban and off-road environments.The LANDTREK SE retails at RM129,124, is available in Rockstone Grey and Ceramic White.

Citroën, another esteemed name under the Stellantis house of brands, hinted at its upcoming Malaysian return. The iconic Ami Buggy – a unique, EV Quadricycle, and the all-new C3 Aircross, renowned for its superior comfort, practicality, and space were on display at the Stellantis booth. These vehicles underscore Citroën’s commitment to making continental cars more accessible while blending bold design with unparalleled comfort infused with innovation.

Stellantis recently announced the start of operations of Leapmotor International, which is a joint-venture strategic partnership with Leapmotor, a leading EV technology powerhouse from China. Leapmotor International’s EV product offering is considered complementary to Stellantis’ current technology and portfolio of iconic brands and will bring more affordable mobility solutions to global customers in the fourth quarter with Malaysia included in the growth plans. 

The Leapmotor C10 is Leapmotor’s first global product, built according to global design and safety standards. The C10 is based on Leapmotor’s self-developed LEAP3.0 technology architecture, featuring industry-leading intelligent electric technology such as central integrated electronic and electrical architecture, cell-to-chassis (CTC) technology, and its flagship intelligent cockpit. It is a fully equipped, family-centric D-segment vehicle with best-in-segment premium ride and handling experience, featuring up to 420 km WLTP range, and a 5-star E-NCAP rating. 

Visitors and fans of the PEUGEOT brand who visit the booth from 22- 26 May can register for a test drive with the newly launched PEUGEOT 408 GT and the popular 3008 SUV. Off-road enthusiasts can sign up for the exclusive 4×4 offroad test drive in the PEUGEOT LANDTREK through specially curated exciting offroad activities. 

Visitors who place a booking during the Autoshow will enjoy exclusive savings of RM9,000 off the PEUGEOT 3008 and 5008, while those who place a booking on the all-new PEUGEOT 408 will enjoy 1-year free service.
