March15, 2024 ,KUALA LUMPUR– iMotorbike, now, have one of the largest selections of pre-owned motorbikes on display with the unveiling of its new 3 storeys showroom, covering 46,806 square feet located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam . The showroom can accommodate up to more than 1500 motorcycles.
With a strong presence in Malaysia and Vietnam, the launch of the new showroom represents a significant milestone for the company, reaffirming its dedication to delivering an exceptional experience for its customers.
Dato’ Seri Haji Amirudin bin Shari- Chief Minister of Selangor, officiated the ceremony and witnessed by Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar-CEO of Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), Nazri bin Noh-Chairman of STDC, Gil Carmo and Sharmeen Looi– co-founders of iMotorbike.
Established in 2017, iMotorbike began its journey in a modest apartment before rapidly expanding to a 3,000-square-foot store in Petaling Jaya, leading to the culmination of this latest showroom. Offering a seamless online motorcycle buying experience, the platform ensures quality through 170 inspection points and 6-day return, 6-month warranty, along with nationwide delivery. The new showroom is open to the public and is located at 12, Jalan Perpustakawan U1/62, Kawasan Perindustrian Temasya, Shah Alam, Selangor.
The innovative technology company has added additional value-added consumer services such as bundled finance, road tax, and insurance options. This pairs well with up-to-date motorbike news and the opportunity to view and test-drive motorbikes from one of the largest selections in the country.

iMotorbike has achieved impressive financial success, generating over RM 28 million of annualised revenue. The company’s success has attracted the attention of prominent investors, including Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), making iMotorbike the first portfolio company to receive investment from PNSB. This strategic partnership signifies the state government’s recognition of iMotorbike’s potential and contribution to the state’s economic development.
In a move towards fostering local talent and advancing the motorbike industry, the launch event also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between iMotorbike and the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC) to empower the education and youth development of Selangor.
“The Selangor government always supports initiatives that equip our young generation with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the workforce. This MOU with iMotorbike is a shining example of such collaboration, fostering a unique training programme that empowers students, bolsters our technical industries, and ultimately fuels the state’s economic growth,” stated Nazri bin Noh, Chairman of Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre.
The collaboration allows STDC students and graduates 16 years old and above to pursue specialised motorbike technician certifications, paving the way for rewarding careers in the industry. Not only that, the partnership also leverages the resources of the Selangor tech space, further amplifying the state’s focus on tech education and innovation.
“PNSB, as a state-linked entity, stands apart from conventional venture capital firms. Our unique position allows us to act as a bridge between startups and the state apparatus. Today’s MOU signing exemplifies this commitment,” said Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar, CEO of PNSB.
