December 06, 2023,KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia –Gentari and EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC) together with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia intend to accelerate the EV ecosystem growth and the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country, that will enhance the customer experience of Mercedes-Benz EV owners.
Shah Yang Razalli- Deputy CEO of Gentari & CEO of Gentari Green Mobility Sdn Bhd , Amanda Zhang-CEO & President, Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia and Lee Yuen How– MD of EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC) has officially signed a MOU to explore EV charging facilities at selected strategic locations across Malaysia to ease long distance travel with charging subscription plans.Witnessing the MOU were , Aleksandra Lukasiak -CFO of Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia, Aliah Nasreen-COO of Gentari Green Mobility and Dr Che Hang Seng-Technical Director of EV Connection.
Gentari Green Mobility currently operates 79 DC chargers across 9 states including Wilayah Persekutuan in Malaysia and is rapidly expanding its reach in Asia Pacific.
The potential charging point operations would be jointly developed with EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC), and to cater to EV drivers’ needs, these facilities would be installed at selected strategic locations across Malaysia, to ease long distance travel. This potential initiative is also aimed at providing range confidence for EV drivers.
