June 06,2023,Kuala Lumpur –Vudhigorn Suriyachantananont has been appointed as the new VP of Marketing for the ASEAN region of Great Wall Motor (GWM). Prior to joining QWM ,Vudhigorn was the executive VP of Toyota Motor Thailand.
Vudhigorn will be responsible for formulating GWM’s business growth in key markets such as Thailand, Malaysia and across ASEAN region. With his extensive market knowledge and understanding of customer needs, Vudhigorn will be instrumental in establishing a strong marketing position for GWM in the ASEAN region, aligned with the outlined business plan. Furthermore, he will focus on cultivating customer relationships and creating value based on GWM’s user-centric approach, which is a core principle the company consistently upholds.

In Thai market, GWM’s xEV models, including the New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV, All New HAVAL H6 Plug-in Hybrid SUV, HAVAL JOLION Hybrid SUV, ORA GOOD CAT, and ORA Good Cat GT, have achieved exceptional growth, with a staggering 214% increase in total sales of 11,616 vehicles in 2022 compared to the previous year. GWM is set to introduce at least three new models to the Thai market this year, catering to the diverse demands and preferences of Thai customers.
In Malaysia, GWM continues to drive exponential growth for the ORA GOOD CAT EV, with plans to launch two new models namely HAVAL H6, the top-selling SUV, and the GWM CANNON sometime in the near future.
