March 18, 2020, Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysia’s Government has recently implemented the Movement Control Order in view of Covid-19.
At press time, most of the automotive companies which includes, Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur, Audi Malaysia, Bentley Kuala Lumpur, Bermaz Auto Sdn Bhd, Borgward Malaysia, BMW Group Malaysia, Citroen Malaysia, DS Automobiles, Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd, Ford Malaysia, Go Automobile Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (Haval Malaysia), Honda Malaysia, Hyundai Malaysia, Isuzu Malaysia, Lexus Malaysia, Mclaren Kuala Lumpur, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, Naza Italia, Naza Kia Malaysia, Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd, Proton Holdings Bhd, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur, TC Euro Cars Sdn Bhd, UEM Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia, and Volvo Car Malaysia had announced that their dealerships and service centres will be temporarily closed from March 18, until March 31.
This also means that delivery of cars will be delayed until April 1, 2020 or until the order is lifted.
For those that weren’t listed in the list above, the writer was unable to get any details of announcement made by the company.
