December 16, 2022 ,Kuala Lumpur– Honda Malaysia today honoured Chin Kok Fung, the First owner of the 2.0L Civic e:HEV RS, with Honda Accessories and Official Honda Merchandise worth RM4,000. at a ceremony held at Honda authorized dealer, MH Prestige Auto Sdn. Bhd.
Honda Malaysia MD and CEO, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura said, “We are delighted to have launched this new variant. This is the first time we have introduced the Civic with a 2.0L e:HEV powertrain for Honda Malaysia .This is definitely a leap forward in our effort to offer the most advanced hybrid technology to Malaysians. To-date, we have delivered more than 180 units of Civic e:HEV RS to Malaysians and today we are celebrating the memorable occasion with the first owner, Mr. Chin Kok Fung.”

The Civic e:HEV RS offers a sporty design while continuing to familiarize the RS styling with the addition of Chrome Ring Insert Headlight and Front Grille, Black Half Chrome Door Handle,
18-inch Dual Tone Alloy Wheels, Single Tailpipe Finisher as well as the unique Blue H Mark and e:HEV emblem.
Honda Malaysia introduced the 2.0L e:HEV powertrain that combines two electric motors coupled with an Electric Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT) and an Intelligent Power Unit (IPU), providing a maximum power output of 184PS and 315Nm of torque that is unmatched in its segment.
Another unique feature that has been introduced to the e:HEV RS variant is the Power Flow Display. It supports eco-friendly driving by showing the flow of energy in the car and can be accessed through the 9-inch Advanced Display Audio which is also equipped with Wireless Apple CarPlay™.
Within the interiors, Honda Malaysia introduced a 10.2-inch Full TFT Meter alongside Wireless Charger and Key Card which are all exclusively offered in the Civic e:HEV RS. Offering advanced technologies, the Civic e:HEV RS will capture working adults, young families and urbanites who demand a stylish and practical model with top-notch safety features.
