September 29,2022,Poland- Tychy Plant has achieved a new record with the roll-out of the 12,500,000 vehicles from the Stellantis assembly lines . The Jubilee car is a stunning two-tone Fiat 500 Dolcevita, equipped with a hybrid propulsion system, which is en route to a customer in Belgium.
The vehicle No. 12,499,999 was the elegant, Lancia Ypsilon Hybrid, which is bound for the Italian market, while the number 12,500,001, the feisty and sporty Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally is heading to Germany.
“We are breaking new record and it is all thanks to our beloved Fiat 500, because it is with the production of this model that our plant has reached such an impressive figure of 12.5 million. For years , the Fiat 500 has remained one of the most favorite vehicles for Europeans in the segment of small city cars. We are pleased that our Fiat 500 dominates the sales rankings in its segment in Poland ,”Tomasz Gębka, Stellantis Plant Manager in Tychy,said at the ceremony .
Fiat 500 has significantly contributed to this record, representing a successful model for more than 15 years. Currently, the Fiat 500 is the A-segment leader in France, Germany, Spain, UK and in 10 other European markets and second in Italy and Europe after the Fiat Panda.
Tychy plant will soon start production of the all-new Jeep® Avenger, the first-ever fully electric Jeep SUV and the first electric vehicle produced in Poland for the mainstream market.
