September 18, 2020, Kuala Lumpur – Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia, together with its authorised dealer Auto Raya Timur has opened a new Mitsubishi Motors 3S centre (Sales, Service and Spare parts) in Temerloh Pahang.
Auto Raya Timur is a new showroom in Temerloh incorporating Mitsubishi Motors’ new corporate brand; represented by its global tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’. The corporate mark is a powerful statement of Mitsubishi Motors commitment to the values and aspiration of its drivers.
“I would like to congratulate Auto Raya Timur, for successfully launching its first showroom here in Temerloh! As Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia progressively work towards introducing the new Mitsubishi Xpander here in Malaysia, this new showroom in Temerloh represents our commitment to put customers as a priority, including providing them with a comfortable sales and aftersales experience when they visit our showrooms,” said its chief executive officer Tomoyuki Shinnishi in a statement.
The 3S centre is located at Lot 9301 & 9297, Batu Tiga, Jalan Mentakab, 28000 Temerloh, Pahang.
“Our group has been in the automotive business for over 50 years mainly on trucks and heavy commercial vehicles. Mitsubishi cars have now become one of the most preferred and most searched cars and as such we see a tremendous growth potential for the Mitsubishi brand in Malaysia,” said Auto Raya Timur dealer principal Basharuddin Abdullah.
The outlet has a built up area of over 11,000 square feet that comes with facilities like a customer lounge with WIFI, display area of up to three units, and six service bays.
To date, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has 52 showrooms, out of which 46 are 3S centres and 52 service outlets nationwide. As for East Malaysia, there are 14 showrooms, 7 in Sabah and 7 in Sarawak.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has three models in their line up, the Triton 4×4 pick-up truck which is completely built-up from Thailand, the ASX Compact SUV and the Outlander which are locally-assembled.
With its ongoing aggressive marketing campaign on the Mitsubishi Expander, it is expected that the upcoming seven-seater crossover will be launched in Malaysia next month.
